Congratulations to our long time team member Michael Putzer who had his successful doctoral examination last Thursday. The titel of his thesis: Development of subject-specific musculoskeletal models for studies of lumbar loading.
In his work he developed models in the AnyBody Modeling System and could show how anatomical and mechanical parameters influence biomechanical results. Furthermore, he studied the influence of intervertebral disc herniation on lumbar loading.
The thesis was handed in to the Universität der Bundeswehr München. His examers where Prof. Ingo Ehrlich and Prof. Norbert Gebbeken.
